TikTok Business Messaging policies allow high volumes of Messages, including 10 per second for Messages.
In addition to following all TikTok policies, to further reduce the risk of false-positive account-related issues, HiTide has implemented a self-imposed limit of 36k messages per account, for each rolling 60 minute period.
In situations where your HiTide campaign content goes viral and drives significant keyword trigger activity during a short period of time, HiTide will automatically slow down HiTide messages sending after 36k messages have been sent within a rolling 60 minutes; new HiTide messages will be queued and sent in order of keyword receipt, while staying under the hourly limit. Pacing will apply to new conversations only to ensure that existing automations can be completed; for example, if a user is midway through a TCPA opt-in flow at the time the Hourly Messages Send Pacing activates, they will still be able to finish the flow without a delay.
TikTok Account Type Eligibility: Business Account.
A Personal Account cannot authorize HiTide to manage their direct messages via API, but conversations and messages between a Personal Account and a Business Account are accessible via API after the Business Account authorizes HiTide.
TikTok Account Region Eligibility: TikTok accounts signed up outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK.
Business Accounts signed up in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK cannot authorize HiTide to manage direct messages. Direct messages sent from/to accounts signed up in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK are also blocked in API and webhook used by HiTide for this integration.
