This guide is how to set up Meta [Click To Message Ads] for brands using HiTide. HiTide is an Instagram Direct Message automation tool.
Brands can use **Meta Click To Message** Ads to move users until an automated DM funnel by making it easy to send in a keyword [emoji].
HiTide automations are triggered by specific keywords such as emojis, such as: 🪐
The below instructions are requirements for running a campaign that clicks out to the defined HiTide keyword and pushes conversions to Instagram DM only.
Not in scope for these instructions are creative asset or targeting guidence, which can be determined separately.
Campaign Objective, should be set to Engagement
Conversion Location, should be set to Messaging apps
Ad type, should be set to Click to message
Messaging app destination, should be Instagram ONLY
Performance goal, should be Maximize number of conversions
Placements, should be Manual placements
Select Instagram Feed and Instagram Stories ONLY
Creative
In many cases, you will be using an Existing Post (such as a Giveaway)
Otherwise, you can use new assets.
Call to Action, should be Send Message
Greeting Text:
“send us [emoji] to enter the giveaway”
Frequently Asked Questions:
“Enter me in the giveaway! [emoji]”
You should only populate Question #1 as shown in the below example. All other question fields can be Xd out.
Do not populate the Automated response - this will be handled by HiTide when we detect the [emoji] keyword
