Brands can use TikTok Direct Messaging Ads to move users into an automated DM funnel.

☝️This document focuses on the work you need to do in TikTok Ads Manager.
It assumes you’ll separately set up a corresponding HiTide campaign in HiTide with the Click to Message ad trigger.
Go to HiTide and click on the Settings and then click onConnect Ad Manager button
Then click Connect on TikTok Ad Manager and folow on screen instructions
Go to the HiTide dashboard and click on the more button of the campaign you want to use. Then click on Setup Click to Message Ad
Log in to TikTok Ads Manager, and select Create Ad
Select Lead generation/Smart+ campaign, as your advertising objective. Then press Continue
In Optimization and bidding section, select TikTok direct messages then, as Goal, select Conversations and press Continue
For TikTok Direct Messaging Ads, you will need to provide a TikTok Business Account to which the direct messages will be sent. Link your account if you haven't already. You will need the email you used to register your TikTok Ads Manager account and a TikTok account.Once you've linked your TikTok Business Account, you will be able to select that as your identity and also the account that will receive the direct messages from interested users.
In Welcome message section, click on Choose from library
Then select your campaign and click on Confirm
Ad your Creative assets
In the Add Text section, make it clear that clicking on the ad call to action (CTA) button will take the user to a direct message chat with the advertiser.
Press Publish all to publish your ad.
